Miss Gregory’s Class

Reminders and Upcoming Events: This Friday we will have a pajama day.  Students may wear pajamas to work.  They must wear shoes with soles.  Our Christmas party will be Friday afternoon.  If you would like to send in anything for the party, please let me know.  All food must be store bought.  Thank you! Check my blog for updated information such as spelling lists and homework.   http://gregoryjme.blogspot.com/ We will not have a DIBELS passage this week.  We will have a sight word test over all the words we have had from the 2nd nine weeks. Tests will be Friday morning as per usual.

Today I gave the students pretests over their spelling and sight words.  If they made a 100, they will not have to retake the tests tomorrow.

The only homework for tonight is to study. 

Tomorrow is the Christmas party.  Remember the students can wear their pajamas.  They must wear shoes with soles.  They will not have to pay for dress down if they wear pajamas.

Reminders and Upcoming Events: Check my blog for updated information such as spelling lists and homework.   http://gregoryjme.blogspot.com/ This week we have begun DIBELS.  DIBELS is a tool to help assess fluency.  This week I will send a passage home that you can practice with your child.  The assessment only lasts one minute.  Time your child each night to see how their fluency grows throughout the week.  Passages will be sent home weekly.
